About Summer Orientation

If you are a student attending Boise State University for the summer only, this is the program for you! It is not required, but helps students understand how to be successful here at Boise State.

If you are continuing into Fall 2008 and enrolling in summer to get a head start, click here for the Fall 2008 orientation page.  It contains dates for upcoming orientation programs and additional information on student success. Students planning on taking classes in the Fall, who wish to register for classes before open registration on August 19th, are encouraged to attend a New Student Orientation program over the summer. Students will be able to register for classes as part of their orientation experience.

These programs will allow you to explore all the essentials for a great start at Boise State University, including:

  • Navigating BroncoWeb

  • Discovering campus services

  • Specialized break-out sessions for first-year, transfer, and non-traditional (over 21) students

  • Meeting Orientation Leaders and faculty advisors
