Tracy from the Bookstore replies: "We have a lot of books for fall already on the shelves, and you could purchase them now. Some titles may not be in yet. To check, have your son log onto his BroncoWeb account and pull up his class schedule. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the green "get my books now" button. This will open a new page with a list of all the texts for his classes. It will have a price if the books are available, and show whether there is new or used available. It also shows whether the books are required or optional. You can then either order online and choose to have them shipped to you, or have us hold them to be picked up when he comes to campus. He can also come into the Bookstore to shop for them if you do not want to order online."

There are a few answers:

1. The bus. At the beginning of the school year, your student can go to the Info Desk in the Student Union and have a bus sticker placed on their student ID which will allow them to use the ValleyRide bus system for free. The bus does go by the airport. Your student can go to http://www.valleyride.org to look up bus stop information and schedules.

2. Friends. Lots of students have cars - often times it is possible they can get a ride.

3. Taxi. Taking a taxi from Boise State to the airport is about $8.00.

The SHIP (Student Health Insurance Program) premium is $697 for each semester in 2008-09. As long as your student is enrolled in 8 or more credits, he/she will be automatically enrolled in SHIP each semester and this premium charge will be added to his/her tuition and fees bill. Payments are due per the university timelines each semester - there is not a separate billing for health insurance.

Additional SHIP information can be found at: http://www.boisestate.edu/healthservices/insurance/index.asp or feel free to contact the SHIP Office at 426-2158.
