New Student and Family Programs Welcomes You! It is our mission to facilitate the successful transition of new students to Boise State University, preparing them for the university’s educational opportunities and assisting them with integration into Boise State University’s intellectual, cultural, and social climate. Coming to the next orientation? For the latest updates, check the update area at the bottom of this page. For details on where to park, directions, and other resources, click the Orientation link.
To aid in the successful transition of university students, we focus on first-year programming for traditional-aged, non-traditional, and transfer students. Our programs begin with new student orientation, and continue throughout the first year of campus life at Boise State. By incorporating a strong student voice in our office's planning and programming, we do our best to make the first year at Boise State a successful one for all our students.
We also focus much of our attention to the needs of family members of Boise State students. Family members play a critical role in the success of students, especially during the first year. We offer family newsletters, Parent and Family Weekend, and a number of other resources to help support families throughout their students' academic career. | >
